My VW Beetle
My Beetle was built on the 16th January 1970
(All Licence Plate Details Have Been Removed For Security Reasons)
The Bug Fully Restored!! (Picture Sept 2001)
All the rubber seals (inc Window Rubbers) were replaced, and both bumpers were replaced and locally re-chromed.
She has a 1300cc VW Air-cooled flat 4 Engine
The Engine was re-built and the tinware was cleaned and powder-coated.
I bought the car in August 2000, as a project to restore.

The interior trim was beyond repair and the headlining was replaced, new seat covers were fitted and the frames were re-painted, also a new carpet was made.
Many Fittings, wings and all parts were replaced as required.
Bug minus its wings!!!!
The 8 Spoke EMPI wheels were replaced with chrome plated OEM style ones and fitted with original centre caps.
New running boards were also fitted, and two rust free doors from California were fitted.
Like all old cars some welding had to be done!
